About Board Elections

The Art Students League Board of Control is composed of League Members in good standing who have been elected by their fellow members. Elections happen regularly throughout the year, and special appointments take place when there is an unexpected vacancy on the Board.

Nomination and Appointment Process

Members in good standing who are interested in serving on the Board must apply to be nominated or appointed to the Board. Each applicant is carefully considered and some candidates, but not all, are interviewed by Board Members.
