Introduction
Welcome to the Resources of the Art Students League of New York!
This comprehensive guide is designed to help you navigate being a student and Member of the Art Students League. Use the menu on the left to navigate topics, including:
- Classes: The League offers more than 100 monthly and weekly classes, and short-term workshops, both in-studio and online. This section of the site explains how our atelier-style system works, what types of classes we offer, what to expect when you become a student at the League, what you need to get started in class, and what our class policies are.
- Certificate Track: Most students at the League build their own curriculums by enrolling in classes month-to-month for as long as they like. The League also offers a Certificate of Fine Arts, earned after completing a prescribed two-or-four year course of intensive study.
- Special Programs: The League's special programs are application-based and offer ways to specialize or expand your skills as an artist.
- Membership: Learn how to become a Member of the League or access the information you need as a Member.
- Scholarships & Grants: We offer multiple ways to earn merit- or needs-based funding that can help you pay for League classes. This section outlines scholarships available and how to apply.
