The League Veteran’s Day Celebration

Since the introduction of the G.I. Bill in 1944, veterans have been a significant and integral part of the League community. In 2015, the League organized a survey exhibition of work produced by veteran League artists, On the Front Lines: Military Veterans at the Art Students League of New York. Coinciding with the exhibition, a short documentary featuring interviews with some of the participating artists was produced. Join us, this November 11, for a celebration commemorating the lives and work of the League’s veteran students, and revisit the work and artists featured in our Front Lines exhibition.
