Join our April Drink & Draw session, and practice figure drawing with two models in combined poses. Led by Naomi Andreé Campbell and Valentine Aprile, this sketch will be hosted by our friends at Jeannie’s, located on lower level of Nordstrom at 225 W 57 Street, right next to the League. Supplies will not be provided, so stop by the League’s Art Supply store and grab whatever you need! Beverages are available for purchase during the event, and our hosts at Jeannie’s have graciously extended Happy Hour pricing to League guests for this event.
Naomi Andrée Campbell has painted in watercolor for over thirty years. She is a graduate of Champlain College, Quebec, Canada; was classically trained in painting, drawing, and printmaking at The Art Students League of New York; and has studied at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada; School of Visual Arts, New York; and with many nationally recognized watercolor artists.
Valentine Aprile is a multidisciplinary artist of Indigenous Mexican and European descent. Her work displays an acute understanding of storytelling, movement, and the expressive capabilities of the body and portrait. She creates psychological portals. Her paintings marry abstraction and life study using both traditional techniques and intuitive improvisation.
