Frank Webster is a painter who lives in Queens, NY. Webster received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his MFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, also attending the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the NYFA Fellowship in Painting and the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant and has shown in many solo and group exhibitions domestically and abroad. Webster’s work—ranging from small, ethereal watercolors to 10-foot wide panoramic paintings—depicts the nuanced allure of the natural world. Most recently he was an artist on the Summer 2022 expedition of the Arctic Circle Residency.
