Morton Kaish: The Light Beyond

Join art critic David Ebony, art historian Annette Blaugrund, designer Henk Van Assen and artist Melissa Kaish for a panel discussion celebrating the publication of Morton Kaish: The Light Beyond (Abbeville Press, 2026), a richly illustrated monograph exploring the life and work of the celebrated American painter who taught painting for many years in the Art Students League’s historic Dumond Studio. The conversation will explore Kaish’s artistic legacy and enduring impact and will also feature six major works by Kaish, exhibited for one-night only.
